Cboe BZX proposes mandatory halt framework for corporate actions under 23-hour trading. Cboe BZX filed to amend Rule 11.29 so that, under its 23/5 trading operations, securities affected by certain corporate actions get a mandatory regulatory halt after the After Hours Session ends, resuming via a Halt Auction at 8:00 a.m. ET — mirroring frameworks already adopted by Nasdaq and NYSE Arca. It is the next piece of exchange plumbing needed to make near-continuous trading operationally viable around corporate-action processing. Filed for immediate effectiveness (SR-CboeBZX-2026-071). Cboe BYX and EDGA add a "Regular til Post Market" time-in-force. Both exchanges filed near-identical rule changes — amending BYX Rules 11.1(a)/11.9(b)/11.23 and EDGA Rules 11.1/11.6/11.7/11.8 — creating an RTP time-in-force that lets an order entered for the regular session also participate in the post-market session, matching functionality NYSE Arca and Nasdaq already offer. Effective immediately; incremental extended-hours convergence across venues. Federal Register (BYX) · Federal Register (EDGA)
IEX extends implementation deadline for extended-hours pegged-order trading. IEX (SR-IEX-2026-30) pushed back by 60 days — from October 8 to December 7, 2026 — the deadline to issue the Trading Alert implementing its July 2026 rule change that made pegged orders and the D-Limit order type eligible to trade in IEX's pre-market and post-market sessions. An administrative timing change, not a substantive policy shift, but part of the same extended-hours build-out. SEC filing
