SEBI
SEBI opened its multi-day Symposium on Cyber Defence in Mumbai, with Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey pressing regulated entities to treat post-quantum cryptography as a present-day migration programme rather than future research. Running 17–21 August with delegates from 15 IOSCO jurisdictions, the symposium combines classroom sessions, tabletop exercises and live simulation on a Cyber Range platform; Pandey said entities should compile a "cryptographic bill of materials" to identify where post-quantum gaps exist before migrating. No new circular accompanied the remarks — this is direction-setting ahead of a future framework, not a rule change. ANI
