RBI, IFSCA & other

RBI's overnight VRRR auctions draw ₹1,91,000 crore in bids against ₹1,50,000 crore notified. Across two overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo auctions on 20 August, banks parked the full notified amount at a weighted average cut-off of 5.24%, with demand well above the amount on offer as system liquidity stayed in surplus.
