Bitcoin slips toward $76,000 as a second day of ETF redemptions meets midterm-election nerves. Bitcoin traded in a $76,000–$78,000 band Tuesday, easing off Monday's levels as investors de-risked ahead of the US midterm elections, spot bitcoin ETFs logged a second straight outflow day, and the market kept digesting the Binance breach; crypto.news put the pullback alongside broader tech-stock softness, and one tracker cited by KuCoin placed the Fear & Greed Index at 26, in "fear" territory. Ether tracked bitcoin lower without a notable divergence and has no fresh flow print of its own beyond the ETP redemptions below. crypto.news · GuruFocus

Spot bitcoin ETFs post a second straight outflow day; ether ETFs add to the retreat. US spot bitcoin ETFs saw a net $398.6m outflow on November 2, per Farside/SoSoValue-sourced data, with BlackRock's IBIT alone shedding roughly $405.3m – its largest single-day redemption since June 26 – against a small $6.7m inflow to Fidelity's FBTC and no net move elsewhere. Spot ether ETFs lost a further ~$140m the same day, for a combined ~$539m pulled from US bitcoin and ether ETPs. KuCoin, via Farside Investors · KuCoin
No new attested stablecoin supply print or de-peg wobble surfaced in this window; Monday's ETF redemptions were the bigger flow story.

Binance publishes its zero-knowledge reserve proof, and Teng says flows have "normalized." Binance completed a zk-SNARK-backed proof-of-reserves check for ten assets – BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC – tied to its October 31 snapshot, combining a Merkle tree (confirming every account was counted) with a cryptographic proof that reserves cover what's owed; a broader snapshot covering more tokens is due November 4. Separately, co-CEO Richard Teng said roughly 95% of the hacked assets have now been replenished and that hourly deposits have started exceeding withdrawals, with net outflows since the restart running near $5.28bn, about 3% of platform assets. Ark Invest buys the dip in Coinbase, Circle and Robinhood as crypto equities fall sector-wide. Cathie Wood's Ark bought about $3.4m of Coinbase, $2.6m of Circle and $646,000 of Robinhood on Monday as all three slid with the wider market; Coinbase closed down 3.98% at $137.83, before Tuesday's CFTC news (below) reversed much of that move. The bitcoin miners had nothing to report this window; Riot's Q3 call, due tomorrow, remains the next real data point.

CFTC clears single-stock "Equity Perps" for US exchanges. CFTC Chairman Michael Selig said the agency deemed stock-linked perpetual futures approved under Rule 40.3, extending the onshoring of perpetual-style contracts from crypto into individual equities and ETF shares; the products are treated as security futures and sit under joint CFTC/SEC oversight, with Coinbase Derivatives and Kalshi among the exchanges that filed. SIFMA had written regulators on November 2 urging a safety review before any launch. Coinbase shares rose about 6.4% to $146.68 on the news. Bitcoin Magazine · FinanceFeeds

Arthur Hayes (X): argues bitcoin's weakness will likely persist until the Fed or the banking system expands its balance sheet, pointing to his own dollar-liquidity gauge as the thing to watch rather than price itself – a liquidity read, not a call on where price goes. BeInCrypto
Otherwise a thin window for freshly argued theses – the research desks look to be digesting the proof-of-reserves saga and the CFTC's perps expansion rather than publishing independent takes; expect sharper commentary once Circle's and Riot's prints land later this week.
