London Stock Exchange tightens rules on order-flag use. LSE published Stock Exchange Notice N11/26 (27 July), an administrative rulebook amendment adding new Rule 2106: member firms may only apply an order flag — including the "retail investor order" flag used under the Retail Broker Order Book Trading Scheme — in accordance with the Exchange's published terms and guidance. It's a technical tightening of order-flagging conduct rather than a policy change, aimed at keeping flags used for fee treatment and order-book classification applied consistently.
