DFSA fines Moody's Middle East unit over client-data leaks. The Dubai regulator fined Moody's Investors Service Middle East Limited, a DFSA-licensed credit rating agency, $585,825 (reduced from $836,892 for early settlement) after finding inadequate controls let staff disclose confidential client information on seven occasions between December 2023 and May 2026, four of them to outside recipients. DFSA notice

Otherwise a quiet stretch for the Gulf: Saudi Arabia's CMA and Tadawul, the UAE's CMA and DFM/ADX, ADGM's FSRA, Qatar's QFMA/QSE and Kuwait's CMA/Boursa Kuwait had nothing new, and none of SAMA, CBUAE, QCB or CBK put out a rule.

Israel

A quiet window for Israel — nothing fresh from the ISA, TASE or the Bank of Israel's Banking Supervision Department.

Africa

Nothing material out of South Africa's FSCA, the JSE or the SARB, nor from Egypt's FRA and CBE, Nigeria's SEC and CBN, Kenya's CMA and CBK, or Morocco's AMMC and Bank Al-Maghrib this window.
