Uranium & Nuclear Energy Corner
Tuesday, 2026-10-13 · covering the last 24h
A quiet 24 hours across the whole value chain and the reactor side alike. Checked the producer and developer newsrooms (Cameco, Kazatomprom, Orano, Paladin, Boss Energy, Deep Yellow, Bannerman, NexGen, Denison, Energy Fuels, Uranium Energy Corp), the Niger/Namibia/Kazakhstan/Canada/Australia/US policy trackers, the conversion and enrichment side (ConverDyn, Orano, Cameco Port Hope, Urenco, Centrus, Global Laser Enrichment) and fuel fabricators, the Russian-supply and sanctions beat, and the reactor vendors, SMR developers and major nuclear utilities — nothing cleared the bar as both new and not already in the last two editions (Rooppur Unit 1's first criticality, the NRC's Palisades fuel-assembly review, and Google's Constellation uprate deal all remain the most recent developments on their respective threads). No market-moving price or SPUT/Yellow Cake update has surfaced since Monday's edition either.
The Chatter
Ran the commentary circuit again — Trader Ferg, The Oregon Group, Uranium Insider's public notes, Sprott's insights and FNArena's Uranium Week column — and came up empty for anything both freshly dated and freshly argued. Three quiet days running for this section is unusual for the sector, but recycling an older take as today's news would be worse than saying so plainly.
