Europe Reg Desk

EU & ESMA

No material ESMA or Commission (DG FISMA) items in the last 24 hours. Checked: ESMA press/news and consultations listings, the T+1 allocation-and-confirmation guidelines (final report still not out — ESMA's own timeline points to "by October" but no publication found), EuroCTP status (live since mid-September, no October update found), and the ESMA-direct-supervision package (the Council reached its negotiating position at ECOFIN on 9 October, ahead of this window; still awaiting the European Parliament's own position before trilogues can start — nothing new since). An ESMA 2026 enforcement-priorities statement was initially flagged by one search pass but could not be confirmed against ESMA's own site — the only verifiable statement under that title is last year's, dated 14 October 2025, so it is left out pending confirmation.

United Kingdom

No material FCA, PRA or Bank of England items in the last 24 hours. CP26/30 (equity market transparency) and CP26/31 (consolidated tape) both remain open, with responses due 16 October. The October PRA Regulatory Digest has not been published yet (the last edition was September, posted 1 October); no FCA policy statement, consultation or enforcement action with structural significance was found dated 13–14 October.

National & exchanges

Checked and quiet: BaFin, Deutsche Börse/Xetra, AMF, Euronext, Consob/Borsa Italiana, CNMV/BME, AFM, SIX/SER-AG and Nasdaq Nordic — no dated circulars, consultations or rule notices found for 13–14 October. CNMV's automatic-delisting-threshold consultation remains open, comments due 19 October (unchanged). No rule changes from SNB, Riksbank, Norges Bank or Danmarks Nationalbank; Norges Bank's quarterly countercyclical-buffer setting (held at 2.5% for Q3) and the SNB's sight-deposit remuneration adjustments are routine/already-effective settings, not new rule changes, and are not reported as such.
