Upstream — mining & supply
Cameco's Key Lake outage weighs on an otherwise flat quarter. Cameco reported third-quarter net earnings of $43 million on revenue of $619 million, roughly level with a year ago, as a longer-than-planned maintenance outage at the Key Lake mill reduced production and raised unit costs, while equity earnings from its Westinghouse stake also came in lower. The company left its 2026 production outlook unchanged and declared its annual dividend. Cameco (SEC filing) · BNN Bloomberg
Midstream — conversion, enrichment & fuel
No fresh conversion, enrichment or fuel-fabrication news broke through this window, and the Russian-import-ban file stayed quiet too.
Nuclear energy — reactors, industry & demand
BWXT narrows 2026 guidance, opens with an initial 2027 outlook. BWX Technologies reported third-quarter revenue of $953.0 million and net income of $102.0 million, narrowed its 2026 non-GAAP earnings guidance to $4.72–$4.77 a share, and issued a preliminary 2027 outlook calling for high-single-digit revenue growth — a read on how the reactor-component and nuclear-fuel supply chain is holding up as the broader nuclear build-out continues.
