Uranium & Nuclear Energy Corner

Thursday, 2026-11-05 · covering the last 24h

Upstream — mining & supply

The producers stayed quiet this window — nothing fresh from Cameco, Kazatomprom, the Australian producers or the junior developers, and no new country-policy moves out of Kazakhstan, Namibia, Niger, Canada or the US.

Midstream — conversion, enrichment & fuel

Centrus swings to a GAAP profit on a warrant gain, while its HALEU backlog keeps building. Centrus Energy reported third-quarter revenue of $55.5 million, down from $74.9 million a year earlier, and GAAP net income of $31.6 million driven mainly by a $46.4 million non-cash fair-value gain on warrant liabilities; stripping that out, the company posted an adjusted net loss of $9.4 million. Total backlog grew to $7.0 billion running through 2040, including roughly $5.4 billion of contingent LEU and HALEU sales commitments, and Centrus said it began shipping centrifuges from its Oak Ridge, Tennessee plant ahead of its year-end target while continuing to enrich HALEU for the commercial market from its existing cascade. Nuclear energy — reactors, industry & demand

Reactor vendors, SMR developers and utilities had nothing new to report this window, and no fresh hyperscaler power deal surfaced.

The Chatter

The commentary circuit was quiet again — no new post from Trader Ferg, The Oregon Group or Uranium Insider, Sprott's own insights page hasn't refreshed, and FNArena's Uranium Week has yet to publish its next edition.
