China — CSRC: The regulator opened a one-month public consultation, comments due 4 October, on draft rules governing private-fund fundraising — tightening qualified-investor suitability checks and requiring private fund managers to raise capital only through licensed self-marketing or registered fund-sales institutions. Korea — FSC: Following the third meeting of its public-private Token Securities Council, the FSC set out a three-phase roadmap extending tokenised-securities rules beyond fractional-investment products to conventional stocks, bonds and funds; draft subordinate regulations under the amended Electronic Securities Act follow later this month, with Phase 1 (institutional private funds/bonds and trust-based tokenisation of unlisted shares) taking effect 4 February 2027.
