Europe Reg Desk

EU & ESMA

A quiet window for Brussels: ESMA's only output was a newsletter edition and an EU Taxonomy simplification proposal, both outside this desk's equity-structure remit, and the Listing Act, CSDR, MiFIR and the consolidated tape saw no movement. The ECB's SSM, TARGET2/T2S and collateral-framework channels issued no rule change either.

United Kingdom

FCA consults on income-sharing and incident-reporting rules for the equity consolidated tape. CP26/39 follows up on July's CP26/31, which established that the UK's future equity consolidated-tape provider must share part of its income with the firms contributing trade data; the new paper consults on how that income-sharing should work in practice and on enhanced operational-incident-reporting duties for all consolidated-tape providers. Opened 29 October, comments close 17 December. FCA consultation paper

No November PRA Regulatory Digest is out yet; September's remains the newest edition.

National & exchanges

Nothing new from BaFin, Deutsche Börse, the AMF, Euronext, Consob, Borsa Italiana, the CNMV, BME or SIX. Nothing retrieved from Sweden's, Norway's or Denmark's central banks this window, and the SNB issued no rule change either.
